FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises basic flotation with several sulphydryl re-cleaning and apolar collectors to obtain the collective copper-molybdenum concentrate. Then it is processed with sodium sulphide and selective flotation of molybdenite is carried out, followed by concentration of the resulting molybdenum-containing product. Then the molybdenum-containing product is treated with a mixture of sulphuric acid and ferrous sulphate in a weight ratio of the said components of the mixture and the molybdenum-containing product (0.3-1.0):( 0.05-0.1):1 at a temperature not lower than 200°C to the moisture content in the molybdenum concentrate no more than 5%, followed by leaching of impurities. Leaching is carried out with water in a weight ratio of water and the molybdenum concentrate of (1.0-10.0):1.
EFFECT: obtaining of high-quality molybdenum concentrate with a low content of molybdenum, copper and iron impurities with high extraction of molybdenum.
