SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mineral processing and can be used in the flotation process. A method for the flotation treatment of flowing and aged mine refuses containing copper and molybdenum minerals involves the selection of copper and molybdenum minerals after the thermal oxidation treatment of a pulp with molybdenite flotation in an alkaline medium produced by sodium sulphide. A starting mineral mass is mechanically activated in an attrition unit, washed in a water:solid ratio of 5:1÷10:1. Further, the molybdenum concentrate is sequentially recovered with the pulp pre-heated to 40-60°C in the main steam in the presence of sodium sulphide, a non-polar collector and a foaming agent; recovering the copper concentrate is accompanied by pre-regrinding a molybdenum flotation tail and performing flotation in an alkaline medium prepared of lime in the presence of Aero-MX 5140 collector and a foaming agent; recovering the pyrite concentrate follows condensation and desorption of the copper flotation tail, flotation in an acid medium prepared of sulphuric acid in the presence of a sulphydryl collector and a foaming agent to produce secondary refuses of the pyrite flotation tail.
EFFECT: more effective separation, recovery of metal concentrates, and energy cost reduction.
