SUBSTANCE: machine for linen, comprising a heat exchanger cleaning unit, may comprise a housing, a drum located in the said housing, a heat exchanger for heating air for drying the laundry in the drum, the air ducts for circulating air between the heat exchanger and the drum, and the control valve which controls the movement of water to the heat exchanger for removal of linter nodules on the heat exchanger. The surface of the heat exchanger can be divided into a plurality of sections so that the first nozzle is connected to the first outlet channel and is located above the first part of the said plurality of sections, and the second nozzle is connected to the second outlet channel and is located above the second part of the said plurality of sections.

EFFECT: control valve is made with the ability to direct selectively the flow of water to the first nozzle or the second nozzle for cleaning the desired part.
