SUBSTANCE: lamp can be used for general illumination of facilities in severe conditions with high content of explosive and highly inflammable gases, dust and moisture. In an engineering solution which consists of a housing and a diffuser, multiple groups of uncased light-emitting diodes on boards, which correspond to dimensions of lateral faces hollow pyramid placed on a holder, made in the form of a hollow structure, connected by the base to an adjustment disc, the novelty is that the vertex of the pyramid is cut off to form an opening and openings are made on the exterior perimeter of the adjustment disc.
EFFECT: measures taken in the device to create directed convective movement of air inside the device improve reliability and service life of the explosion-proof light-emitting diode lamp.
