FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation. Proposed method consists in application of special function based on electric signal f(t), its magnitude being defined by time t and variable angle θ. Note here that in compliance with this invention, said function is raised to positive power n larger than unity. Such value of angle θ is revealed for functional dependence computed by appropriate process whereat that functional dependence features maximum value. Said angle θ that satisfies that condition is a wanted value of initial phase ψ(k) of kth harmonic oscillation. Data obtained in execution of one on computation procedures can be exploited for determination of amplitude of Am(k) of kth harmonic.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination of initial phase ψ(k) of kth harmonic oscillation in intermittent electric signal f(t).
