FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method of preliminary degassing of coal bed is proposed, comprising drilling degassing holes in the plane of the bed, with a pitch of 35-70 m but not more than 0.7 times the length of the support pressure zone, laying the perforated pipelines into the holes with a diameter of 0.7-0.8 of the hole diameter, sealing the wellheads, followed by connection to degassing pipeline and pumping the liquid to the exhaust hole. At that the perforated pipeline is mounted from lightweight perforated tubes made from water soluble materials, and the pipe joints are connected by elastic coupling. At a distance of 1.5-2 m from the hole to the stope breast the perforated pipeline is dissolved in the hole, pumping water into it with additives of surface active agents and solvents. At that the coal is intensely moisturised in the bottomhole part of the mined bed. The liquid injection rate in the exhaust hole is provided of at least 15 l/min.
EFFECT: reduction of dust and gas release to the stope through intensive moisturising the bottomhole part of mined coal bed and reduction of labour intensity of the process of liquidation of the exhaust hole.
