FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, namely to instrument steel used for manufacturing tools of hot deformation of non-ferrous metals and alloy. Steel contains the following, wt %: carbon 0.6-0.7; silicium 0.4-0.7; manganese 1.9-2.1; chrome 2.8-3.2; vanadium 0.5-0.6; boron 0.001-0.003; titanium 0.15-0.3; iron is the rest. The total content of chrome, manganese, silicium, vanadium, boron and titanium is 5.35-6.2 wt %.
EFFECT: improving the impact strength, resistance to cracks and wear-resisting properties.
