FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spreaders for gripping and transportation of large-tonnage containers. A spreader includes a rotary suspension, comprising a non-rotary frame with rope blocks, a rotation mechanism and a rotary frame with support conical rollers. Conical rollers via detachable plates rest on a circular frame fixed with the help of rods to the non-rotary frame. The driving shaft of the rotation mechanism is arranged along the axis of rotation of the rotary frame, is connected to the rotary frame by a geared coupling and is kinematically stiffly fixed on top and bottom with two cable drums for power and control cables. Each cable is fixed on drums so that when wound from the upper drum, it is wound onto the lower one, embracing the blocks fixed on the stand of the non-rotary frame. Rope blocks are fixed to the non-rotary frame by traction rods that may deviate relative to two mutually perpendicular horizontal axes and rotate around the vertical one.
EFFECT: provides for increased reliability and durability.
