FIELD: rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in trucks for carrying nuclear and radioactive materials at nuclear power stations when said trucks must be quickly and reliably braked to prevent dropping of load. Proposed device contains four wheeled modules and truck frame with drive and travel motion interlock mechanism with two shafts installed in bearing supports secured on frames of modules. Cams arranged on shafts are in contact with plates secured by rods on movable toothed clutch members. Compression springs are fitted in diametrically opposite points between movable toothed clutch members and frames of modules. Axles with fitted-on wheels and splined bushings are fixed in module frames. Splined bushings engage with movable toothed clutch members. Fixed toothed clutch members engaging with movable toothed clutch members are fixed on wheels, drum of drive is coupled with shafts by means of cable-and-lever system and by cable-and-sheave system is connected with stops installed for interaction with sockets fixed on rail track.
EFFECT: provision of safety at transportation of radioactive materials.
