SUBSTANCE: invention relates to techniques for playing back stereoscopic images. Disclosed is a computer-readable recording medium on which a base-view stream, a sub-view stream and control information are recorded. The base-view stream has a base-view video stream multiplexed therein, which makes up base-views of stereoscopic video images. The sub-view stream has a sub-view video stream multiplexed therein, which makes up sub-views of stereoscopic video images, wherein the sub-view video stream is encoded relative to the base-view video stream. The control information includes system rate of each of the base-view stream and sub-view stream. The computer-readable recording medium includes a long jump region which is one of the regions having at least a predetermined number of sectors and regions having an inter-layer boundary.
EFFECT: providing smooth playback of stereoscopic video images.
