FIELD: printing.

SUBSTANCE: present group of inventions relates generally to image forming device and more particularly to cooling the toner cartridge in the image forming device. The claimed group of inventions comprises a cartridge for containing toner used in the image forming device, the image forming device and an air duct in the cartridge for containing toner. At that the image forming device comprises a cartridge for containing toner material, a development shaft having proximal and distal ends, and a J-shaped seal creating a boundary between the development shaft and the cartridge at each of the proximal and distal ends, comprising: an air duct located in the cartridge adjacent to the development shaft for extending the air flow through the boundary created by the J-shaped seal for cooling the development shaft, and the air duct comprises: an elongated body and two nozzles hydraulically connected to the elongated body, and each of the two nozzles is narrowed in the axial direction and has cross-section in the shape of an irregular quadrilateral.

EFFECT: elimination of large losses of toner and increase in the production volume of the printer.
