SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry and can be used in developing of an inhomogeneous oil deposit. In the method of the inhomogeneous oil deposit development that includes drilling of injectors and producers, injection of a heat carrier through the injectors and extraction of the product through the producers, injection of a water isolating agent to the stratum with portions of different concentration for the purpose of selective isolation of the injectors the areas with different permeability are identified around the injector by temperature logging with the identification of a square area for the areas with close temperature, at that selective isolation is made by banking with different concentration of the isolating agent as far as the isolating agent with the bigger concentration is used to fill the bigger square areas and the isolating agent with the smaller concentration is used to fill the smaller square areas proportionally to the square area of these areas in a horizontal projection in order to balance the permeability of the oil deposit.

EFFECT: increased coverage of the inhomogeneous oil deposit with an impact, reduced water cut of the extracted product, balancing of the oil deposit permeability, increase of the final oil recovery factor.
