FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power supply systems of, mainly, telecommunication satellites. Spacecraft comprises electric power supply system composed of solar batteries, storage batteries and stabilised voltage inverter for coordinated supply of the spacecraft service systems. Power supplies prepared for operation, spacecraft electrical tests are conducted. Note here that cut-off SVC power circuits are short-circuited on solar cells side by low-power relay switchboards. Solar battery power circuits are connected to SVC under limited natural illumination. This can be defined proceeding from short-circuit current at whatever section of solar battery measured before aforesaid connection. Solar batteries can be made up of several sections with common bus in one of polarities. Coupling of control batteries is controlled by current measurement at said bus at sequential illumination of said sections by low-power illuminator.
