FIELD: space engineering.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the power supply system of a spacecraft (SC). In the method of supplying the load with direct current in the autonomous power supply system of the SC from a primary source, for example a solar battery (SB), and a secondary source of electrical energy, for example, a battery, are stabilized the “n” ratings of the load voltage and coordinate the operation of the primary and secondary sources of electricity at the first level of voltage stabilization. Number of secondary sources of electricity is chosen even, and SB – oriented and placed on two wings connected with the spacecraft automatic through rotary collector devices. Power supply system is made of two independent channels with one-half of the battery and one wing of the satellite in each channel. In the SC, implementing the method, SB with rotary collector devices are located on the "northern" and "southern" sides of the instrumentation unit in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the geostationary orbit or the "Earth-Sun-SC" plane.

EFFECT: technical result of the group of inventions is to improve the energy performance and reliability of the power supply system.
