SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic control systems and can be used to control technical objects for various purposes. Disclosed is an apparatus for providing safety of technological processes. The apparatus includes two registers, two AND element units, three memory units, a comparator circuit, an address counter, a control unit, a clock-pulse generator, an OR element unit, n units for generating an alternative control command code, an AND element of the apparatus with one inverting input, a counter, a decoder, a logic element unit and a priority assigning unit.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the apparatus based on implementation of the algorithm for successive application in an emergency situation of multiple alternative control command codes and a method of assigning a selected queue of applying alternative control command codes depending on a specific technological process.
