FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical instrument-making and can be used in devices for controlling displacement of sighting devices during firing tests. The device for controlling the position of the sighting line of the sighting devices on small arms comprises a laser and a grid with a control point for guiding the sighting line of the controlled sighting device, wherein the device further comprises a collimation-measurement unit which comprises a collimation channel fitted with the said grid which forms a remote image of the grid, and a measurement channel comprising a lens, on the optical axis of which a light-dividing element is placed, and in the focal planes there is a laser and a position-sensitive photodetector which detects the position of the laser spot, a mirror provided with a device for mounting the said mirror onto the firearm with unique orientation of the normal of the mirror relative to the axis of the bore of the firearm, as well as a device for calculating coordinates of the laser spot on the position-sensitive photodetector, connected by the input to the output of the position-sensitive photodetector, wherein the collimation-measurement unit is mounted on a support on a rigid base on which a support for mounting the firearm with the controlled sighting device is also mounted, wherein at least one of the said supports is configured for angular and linear adjustment vertically and horizontally for optical interfacing of the controlled sighting device and laser radiation reflected from the mirror with the collimation-measurement unit.
EFFECT: high accuracy of controlling the position of the sighting line of sighting devices relative to the bore of the firearm and providing a compact device.
