FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: natural gas (NG) from the main pipeline 1 (MP) with pressure of about 25-90 kgf/cm2 is delivered to pressure-reducing valve 2 subjecting it to adiabatic expansion with perfection of external work. During expansion part of NG is converted to liquefied natural gas (LNG), which is poured to cryogenic storage 3. LNG is transported to the fuelling area in an isothermal vessel 7 in a gas carrier 5. At the fuelling area LNG is regasified in atmospheric regasificator 8 until compressed natural gas is obtained for filling of the consumer's 10 gas bottle 11.
EFFECT: reducing the consumer's own costs of filling with compressed natural gas by simplification of technology, reduction of power costs for production of compressed natural gas and increase of LNG transportation efficiency.
