SUBSTANCE: in the bullet cartridge, which comprises a sleeve, a cap primer, the main propellant charge, a wad, and a bullet provided with covering centring separating elements, in plastic or paper sleeve with a metal base the second additional part of the propellant charge is located, separated from the first additional part of the propellant charge by the diaphragm with hole. At that the wad has recesses for placement in it of the part of the stabiliser together with the stabilising projections. The number of the covering centring separating elements is three, and they are partially located in the recess of the wad. The main propellant charge is covered with the metal base or protrudes for the distance of not more than 1.5 mm from the edge of the metal base. At that the diaphragms with the hole are located inside the sleeve close fit and have diameters 0.2-0.4 mm greater than the inner diameter of the sleeve.

EFFECT: increasing the speed of a bullet by increasing the total weight of the propellant charge without increasing the maximum pressure of powder gases inside the barrel of the plain-barrel gun.
