FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder technology, in particular to fine powder of aluminium nitride manufacturing; the powder has is widely used in radiotechnical and electronic industry as main component of heat-conducting pastes and material for manufacturing of the ceramic substrates for the hybrid integrated circuits. Method of the aluminium nitride manufacturing includes activation of the coarse aluminium powder by machining in mill upon presence of the fat organic acids, achievement of the nitriding mode in the nitrogen flow supplied to the reactor with rate 0.1l/v, and nitriding at temperature 550-750°C and nitrogen supply rate 5-6 l/min per 100g of product for 3-5 minutes.
EFFECT: invention ensures single phase, medium powder of the aluminium nitride with particles size from 0,3 to 0,5 micron and containing impurity oxygen <0,65 wt %.
