FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method and device relate to the field of fire safety and can be used for detecting fire at the early stages of smouldering combustion and ignition of combustible materials. The device implementing the method comprises sensors 1.i (i=1, 2, …, n), matching amplifiers 2.i, analogue-to-digital converters 3.i, a microprocessor 4, the generator of light and sound alarm signals 5, the light 6 and sound 7 alarm devices, the output 8, the generator of the modulation code 9, the driving generator 10, the phase manipulator 11, the power amplifier 12, and the transmitting antenna 13. The device for receiving composite signals with the phase shift keying (PSK) comprises a receiving antenna 14, a high frequency amplifier 15, an oscillator 16, a mixer 17, a low frequency filter 18, a system 19 of the phase automatic frequency control (PAFC), a phase shifter 20 to 90°, a multiplier 21, a phase detector 22, and a unit 23 of registration.

EFFECT: increase of the selectivity and interference immunity of receiving and reliability of synchronous detection of phase-shift keyed signals by suppressing spurious signals (interferences), received on additional channels, and eliminating the phenomenon of "sign ambiguity".
