SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication service or network selection, particularly to a data transmission method which enables to quickly provide a user with a service near the user. A service utilisation device reads position data and service information which are transmitted in a given data channel and received on a server. The method includes selecting a data channel based on position information and selecting an execution sever which executes a service providing programme based on information on the selected data channel. An application programme relating to the service information is transmitted to the application execution server; the programme is executed by the selected execution server and the execution result is transmitted, which consists in transmitting the programme execution result to the device by the selected execution server.
EFFECT: minimising costs on computational power of a network and providing a requested service via the most convenient channel for a mobile terminal.
