SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system and method for transmitting payment information using a mobile terminal. According to the present invention, in order to perform a mobile payment, a mobile transaction code, a payment service provider ID, and a merchant terminal ID are transmitted from the user terminal to a payment information transmission server, and the payment information transmission server transmits a payment information message including the mobile transaction code to the merchant terminal, so that the payment can be processed through an identical user interface, despite the different payment methods of different payment service providers.
EFFECT: possibility of a unified transfer of payment information from the user's mobile terminal to the merchant's terminal for various payment service providers.
