FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes using a corrosion inhibitor, having neutralising properties, a protection means which enables to match quality factors of light oil distillation products with current standard and technical specifications, which is fed into the overhead gas line of crude distillation units by spraying under pressure, wherein the protection means used is phenolic water obtained by purifying phenol-sulphide condensation water of the catalytic cracking/delayed coking process from sulphide sulphur by a stripping-fractionation method, in amount of 0.03-9.0 kg/kg condensation drainage water from crude distillation units.
EFFECT: wider range of means of protecting equipment, simple and cheap protection method, which provides high effectiveness of anticorrosion protection of equipment, efficient recycling of phenol-sulphide water.
