FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline valves and is intended for use in various industrial application for shutting of medium pumped through pipelines. The essence of the invention is that the shutoff and throttling device contains the case with output and input branch pipes located opposite to each other, rotary shutoff element - flat shutter, located between branch pipes, and a tailpiece, installed on the rotation axis; it is also fitted with two mutually independent pneumodrives (opening and closing); on the gate tailpiece the profiled surfaces are provisioned which contact the stems of pneumodrives, and the pneumodrives are cooled by flowing medium.
EFFECT: such design of the shutoff and throttling device will allow to ensure its serviceability at high temperatures.
