METHOD OF SYNCHRONISING TRANSMITTED MESSAGES Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G08C19/28

Abstract RU 2538281 C2

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to telemetry, communication engineering and can be used in systems for transmitting information via digital links. A synchronisation signal consisting of three code structures is selected and three parallel processing channels are established. Matched correlation processing of code sequences consisting of nk bits is performed in a first channel in order to identify the synchronisation signal overall. Presence of synchronisation signal features among the analysed code structures is performed in the second channel based on correlation processing of (nk/2-1) symbols with an added parity check symbol bit "0", located in the middle of the initial synchronisation signal. The first nk/4 symbol "0" of the synchronisation signal and the last nk/4 symbol "1" are used to reduce the probability of false recognition of the synchronisation signal and improve the reliability of finding the true synchronisation signal.

EFFECT: high noise-immunity of the system for synchronising means of measuring and transmitting information, minimising the probability of false asynchrony due to breakdown when receiving information, reduced probability of synchronism search due to random imitation of a synchronisation signal in a received digital group signal, shorter time for establishing synchronisation mode of transmitted and received signals.
