FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for drilling by detachable head drills. This drill comprises long body part and cutting part attached to body part end. Composite head of said drill includes at least two parts of insert. Note here that every said part has cutting edge. At least two parts of insert are configured to be plugged in drill body to adjacent relative positions while cutting edges of insert are aligned to make the cutting edge at drill end. Invention covers the design versions of composite heads of this drill and versions of these drills.
EFFECT: decreased wear, higher quality of machining.
