FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for boring by adjustable-size drills. This drill comprises body with lengthwise axis and at least one end surface with guide element combined with at least one end surface. Lengthwise recess is made from end surface along at least one drill body section. At least one insert abuts on said end surface to displace along guide element and includes cutting surface with at least one groove for insert adjoining the drill body edge. This drill comprises fastening system for at least one insert to be plugged in drill body and therefrom and at least one insert fitted in said groove to make finished bore in metal workpiece.

EFFECT: smooth drilling, lower wear.
