FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dressing of mineral resources. Proposed unit consists of the set of hydraulic cyclones with sand nozzles and drain pipes, slime pump with suction and pressure lines, sump, shutoff valve and service water line. It is equipped with appropriate instruments: pulp pressure gage, water flow rate meter, pulp level gage, water feed control valve and frequency inverter connected in unit control system. Said nozzle of every cyclone is provided with adjustable membrane composed of a hollow rubber toroid. The latter is arranged between sand nozzle end and steel pressure sleeve fitted in solenoid surrounding said nozzle to displace said pressure sleeve. The latter contracts said toroid to decrease its ID. Discharge pipe is connected coaxially to drain pipe. Said discharge pipe is provided with adjustable membrane composed of hollow toroid arranged between drain pipe flange and pressure sleeve in solenoid. The latter surrounds discharge pipe and contracts said toroid to decrease its ID by sleeve displacement.
EFFECT: stable pulp separation.
