FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fractional separation of ore suspensions. Proposed complex comprises set of hydrocyclones with distributor, electrically driven pump unit, suction and discharge pulp pipes, coarse ore feed conveyor, ore fine mill, ore sizer, sump, water supply system, hydraulic control valves, and automatic control system. Every hydrocyclone includes tapered cylinder casing with intake at its top communicated with pulp distributor via feed branch pie, cover with drain branch pipe, and sand bed. Mill inlet is connected with coarse ore intake while its outlet is connected with sizer provided with two outlet channels, one of which being connected with sump and another one with mill. Turbine pump is connected via controlled line with discharge pipeline. Hydrocyclone casing cylinder section ID is 3.5-5.0 times larger than drain branch pipe OD. Drain branch pipe cross-section area makes 0.6-1.0 of that of feed branch pipe and is 6-25 times larger than that of sand bed outlet channel.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality, power savings.
