FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a mortar and a mortar shell. The mortar shell has a main body with an propelling cartridge. The main body of the mortar shell is provided with a tip on the thread. The tip is made of a material different from the main body, for example, aluminium. The tip is able to be deformed and depressurise the mortar shell when it collides with an obstacle. The inner cavity of the mortar shell is filled with liquid deactivating substance.
EFFECT: creation of a simple technical solution reliable in operation for deactivation of chemicals.
