FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building. A detachable wheel assembly of a vehicle has a motionless axle installed in a housing, in the hole of which a driving half shaft is installed on a bearing in the boring of a cover with the splined end connected to a wheel hub made with internal teeth and placed on the shaft with bearings, a gear coupling with external teeth installed on the splined end of the driving half shaft with a possibility of interaction with the internal teeth of the wheel hub. The gear coupling is connected to a piston of the control mechanism installed in the hole of the motionless axle, comprising the piston and pre-tensioned spring. Channels for the supply of a working medium are connected to the control mechanism. The pre-tensioned spring rests with one end against the end of the gear coupling, and with another one - against a barrel fixed on the driving half shaft and which has no contact with the cover. The control mechanism piston is located in the boring of the motionless axle.
EFFECT: higher reliability.
