FIELD: power generation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric power and can be used in designing and manufacturing power transformers and controlled compensating and shunt reactors, designed for operation with three-phase reactive power sources. The device comprises a rectangular imbricated core consisting of two rods (1) and two yokes (2), inner (3) and outer (4) windings, coaxially placed on each rod (1) of the core, and four laminated magnetic shunts (5), mounted on the yokes (2) with overlapping of the ends of the windings (1) and (2). The yokes (2) have rectangular cross-sections and are fitted with cantilevered extensions (6), limited by the outer diameter of the winding (2). Each magnetic shut (5) encircles, in a flat-topped manner, a part of the corresponding yoke (2) along with its cantilevered extension (6). The shunt (5) has flat elements (7) which overlap parts of the ends of the windings (3) and (4) which are uncovered by the yokes (2) and their cantilevered extensions (6), and are located in the same plane as the bottom face of the corresponding yoke (2). The outer surfaces of the yokes (2) and their cantilevered extensions (6) are separated from the magnetic shunts (5) by dielectric spacers (8). The lamination planes of the magnetic shunts and the core consisting of the rods (1) and yokes (2) are mutually orthogonal.
