FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy. A steel plate is produced by hot rolling and contains the following (wt %): C 0.03 to 0.15, Si 1.5 or less, Mn 0.5 to 2.0, P 0.04 or less, S 0.005 or less, Al 0.005 to 0.10, N 0.007 or less and Fe and inevitable impurities are the rest; besides, difference as to Vickers hardness in a steel plate between a section of a surface layer and a central section in the plate thickness direction is 50 or less, and its ultimate tensile strength is at least 590 MPa.
EFFECT: invention proposes a steel plate obtained by hot rolling, which has an improved property of elongation at preservation of rather high strength comprising at least 590 MPa.
