FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: circular table (rotary table) of the machine tool with the workpiece, installed on it, is set into the given angular position monitored by the angular position sensor of the circular table. The hydrostatic bins of the end support of the circular table are fitted with hydraulic fluid pressure sensors, the amount of which equal or multiple to the amount of end hydrostatic bins, but no less than three. The signals from the angular position sensor of the circular table and from pressure sensors are entered through the controller into the NC control block of the machine tool, and then using the results obtained from angular position sensors and pressure sensors, and also fixed parameters of the machine tool, such as the circular table mass, amount and sizes of hydrostatic bins, by the calculated method the position of the centre of masses of the circular table and workpiece, workpiece mass, value and direction of disbalance vector, installation site and necessary mass of balancing weights.

EFFECT: improvement of accuracy of determination of disbalance of workpieces and its elimination directly on the machine tool.
