FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to electric engineering, to rotating machines with superconductive rotor winding. The superconductive rotating machine has a cooler for superconductive rotor winding and consists of rotor 1 with superconductive winding 3 contacting a cooling frame 4 of the stator 2 surrounding the rotor 1 and separated from it by a preset gap. At a body 5 insulating the rotating machine from environment there is a fixed cryocooler 10, which is also separated from it by a preset gap A. Heat transfer from the rotor superconductive winding 3 to the fixed cryocooler 10 is carried out in rare medium (vacuum) by thermal electromagnetic radiation in compliance with Stefan-Boltzmann law on radiation heat transfer between two bodies separated by transparent medium.
EFFECT: simplification of construction due to replacement of convective heat transfer by radiation heat transfer that allows exclusion of cryogenic cooling agent from the rotor cooler construction as well exclusion of elements ensuring its circulation and sealing of its losses.
