FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: solar collector contains two side profiles, each of which is made in the form of a vertical wall provided on its ends with thickenings with guide slots perpendicular to the wall, a transparent enclosure made from glass fixed on lateral sides in upper slots of the side profiles, a rear wall fixed on the lateral sides in lower slots of the side profiles, an absorber with tubes for heat carrier flow, which is located between the glass and the rear wall, heat insulation arranged between the absorber and the rear wall; with that, cavities of the side profiles between the slots are filled with side heat insulation. On the upper shaped thickening there is a vertical crest starting from the inner edge of the upper thickening of the vertical wall and ending at the surface of a beam-receiving panel of the absorber.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of strength and efficiency of a solar collector.
