FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes: feeding a feed stream into a first reforming apparatus operated under a first set of reforming conditions, where the reforming conditions include a first temperature, to obtain a first stream which flows out of the reforming apparatus; feeding the first stream flowing out of the reforming apparatus into a fractionation column to obtain a light gas stream and a still residue in the column, which contains aromatic hydrocarbons; feeding the still residue from the fractionation column into a reformate separation column to obtain an upper stream containing C6-C7 aromatic hydrocarbons and a lower stream containing C8 aromatic hydrocarbons and heavier hydrocarbon compounds; feeding the upper stream into an aromatic hydrocarbon separation apparatus to obtain an aromatic product stream and a raffinate stream; feeding the raffinate stream into a second reforming apparatus operated under a second set of reforming conditions, where the reforming conditions include a second temperature, to obtain a second stream which flows out of the reforming apparatus; and feeding the second stream flowing out of the reforming apparatus into the fractionation column.
EFFECT: use of the present method increases output of aromatic hydrocarbons.
