FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of animal husbandry, namely to a method of production of highly effective enterosorbents based on bentonite. The method of improving absorbent properties of bentonite comprises modifying the bentonite with solution of inorganic metal salts, drying and grinding the resulting product. At that bentonite before modification is stirred in water in a ratio of 1:2.5 at a temperature 15-30°C for 30-35 minutes. The inorganic metal salts are used as sodium carbonate and heptahydrate zinc sulphate at a concentration of 0.0067-0.01 M. Modification of bentonite is carried out by stirring for 30-35 minutes. Grinding of the obtained product is carried out to dispersion of particles of 1-6 microns. The bentonite is used as bentonite of Biklyansky field deposit.

EFFECT: bentonite modified by the proposed method has increased adsorbent properties with respect to heavy metals of cadmium and lead.
