FIELD: animal breeding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to animal breeding and fodder production. Method for optimizing the rate of enterosorbent input for metallotoxicosis of animals involves experimentation in animals using group-analog method. First determine the concentration of cadmium or lead, or both elements in ration. In the experiments, one of the groups receives the main diet contaminated with cadmium at concentration of 0.2 mg/kg of dry matter (DM) or lead at concentration of 10 mg/kg of DM, or cadmium 0.2 mg/kg + lead 10 mg/kg with the introduction of 1 % enterosorbent in the diet for 5 days. Then decapitation of animals is made and determine the concentration of metallothionein in their liver. After that, optimal rate of enterosorbent input into the diet according to a certain formula is calculated. Bentonite of Biklyansky deposit of the Republic of Tatarstan is used as an enterosorbent.
EFFECT: implementation of the invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the use of enterosorbents based on bentonite used in animal diets for binding exogenous and endogenous toxins in the gastrointestinal tract of animals, for obtaining pure products.
