FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flow meters. Peculiar feature of the proposed invention consists in the fact that multiphase fluid medium passes through a Coriolis flow meter and a water content meter. Multiphase fluid medium contains two phases during the first time period and three phases during the second time period. The first value of parameter of multiphase fluid medium is determined using the value measured by means of a Coriolis flow meter during the first time period. The second value of parameter of multiphase fluid medium is determined using the value measured by means of a water content meter during the first time period. The first value is compared to the second value, and based on the above comparison it is determined that the first and the second values differ from each other.
EFFECT: improvement of accurate determination of fluid medium flow parameters.
