SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of service dog breeding, namely the field of training of service dogs, and can be used for training and placement to smell of dogs of dog services used for searching the explosives. The training prop of smells of explosives for a dog service comprises a mixture of an inert carrier and odour additive. It comprises a mixture of paramononitrotoluene and explosive as odour additive. The explosive is used as trotyl, hexogene, pentaerythritol tetranitrate, octogene, tetryl. The inert carrier is used as microcrystalline cellulose, silica gel, activated carbon, alumina and other carriers having a finely porous structure, including natural and synthetic woven materials.
EFFECT: use of the technical solution enables to provide the prop with an authentic smell for dog training, and also to provide the opportunity for sustainable memorisation by the dog of smell of commercially produced explosives containing the marking agent - paramononitrotoluene.
