FIELD: odor simulators production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of creating training props - explosive odor simulators, in particular, to the field of detecting items containing explosives, as well as improvised explosive devices. The training prop for the smell of nitro compounds for the canine service for training service dogs for the smell of explosives and improvised explosive devices contains an odor additive and an inert carrier. As an odor additive, the props contain a mixture of ethylene glycol dinitrate, dimethyldinitrobutane, nitroglycerin, tetrazole, hexamethylenetriperoxide-diamine, HMX-based plastic explosive, RDX-based plastic explosive, Octol, Semtex, ammonal, ethylene glycol dinitrate, nitromethane, nitrocellulose, sodium chlorate, potassium chlorate, barium chlorate. At the same time, the content of each component of the odor additive does not exceed 5% by weight of the props, and the content of the inert carrier does not exceed 95% by weight of the props.
EFFECT: simplifying the process of training service dogs for the smell of explosives based on nitro compounds.
