FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: drill bit comprises: a bit body, the longitudinal axis of which stretches along the direction of bit motion; the first group of cutters fixed on the body; the second group of cutters fixed on the body as capable of rotation, at the same time mutual arrangement along the longitudinal axis between the first group of cutters and the second group of cutters may be adjusted; a sensor providing data on rock type; and a processor for control, on the basis of this data, by mutual arrangement of cutters along the longitudinal axis. During realisation of the method for drilling of a drill hole they produce data on rock type, adjacent to a drill bit, from a sensor arranged inside the well, and on the basis of produced data they activate a drive for adjustment of mutual arrangement along the longitudinal axis of the cutter from polycrystalline diamond and a roller cutter.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of drilling during minimum wear of a bit, improved controllability of a bit and layout of a bottom of a drilling string in case of variable types of rock.
