FIELD: soil or rock drilling.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a drill bit, which is a drill bit with a conic cutter or a hybrid drill bit, as well as to a method for passive adjustment of aggressiveness of said drill bit. Drill bit comprises a leg extending from the body towards a conical cutter attached to the end of the leg, and a passively controlled element for changing aggressiveness, located on the blade. Passively controlled element for changing aggressiveness is configured to move between a first position, in which a drill bit has a first aggressiveness, and a second position, in which drilling bit has second aggression different from first, depending on forces acting on passively controlled element to change aggressiveness. Passively controlled element for variation of aggressiveness is made with possibility of damping of vibration as conical cutter enters engagement with underlying geologic formation.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in the drilling tool service life.
