FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: initial realisation of a non-stationary random signal is broken into intervals of random length and is approximated at each of them by a polynom of random degree, thus evaluation of the signal is generated with the specified breakdown, multiple generation of breakdowns of the initial realisation of the non-stationary signal into intervals of random length makes it possible to produce multiple evaluations in its every cross section, by averaging which a resulting evaluation is generated, and to generate the resulting evaluation of the useful signal in each cross section of the initial non-stationary random signal, a modal value is found relative to multiple produced evaluations.
EFFECT: reduced error of component evaluation under conditions of prior uncertainty.
