FIELD: rescue equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to respiratory protection equipment with chemically bonded oxygen. The self-contained breathing apparatus comprises a housing made in the form of a packet of polymeric film, divided by weld joints to pockets provided with windows. The plates of the regenerative product are mounted in the pockets. The housing made in the form of a packet, is located in the breathing bag, and between the front part and the housing the flow switch is mounted, connected by the inspiratory valve to the cavity of the breathing bag. In the windows of the housing the spacing inserts are mounted. The housing is connected to the breathing bag with the tapes which are the continuation of fastening of the device on the user. The housing and the breathing bag are provided with wedge-shaped ledges for connection to the flow switch.
EFFECT: design of the device enables to improve the basic performance characteristics - to reduce the resistance to breathing and to enhance the ease of use.
