FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator has a rotor designed as a truncated cone installed coaxially with a gap in an external cone with a flange and a branch pipe for pulp feeding. The rotor is designed in the form of inverse truncated cone with riffling on its internal surface and installed rigidly in the external cone, forming a gap in which edges and an elastic insert with riffling are located.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of separation of granular materials by density.
