FIELD: ore processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ore processing by gravity methods, namely to devices for separating materials by density in a centrifugal field as part of an aqueous pulp, and can be used in the mining, chemical and building materials industries. The centrifugal concentrator contains a hollow rotor installed with the ability to rotate, connected to a centrifugation bowl placed in its cavity, including annular recesses-recesses with holes for injection of flushing water flowing through the hollow rotor shaft and the cavity between the walls of the rotor and the centrifuging bowl, a device for loading the enriched material in a centrifugation bowl, a device for supplying rinsing water and a device for removing heavy fraction. The specified centrifugation bowl is made of a composite and includes a base and a cylindrical side wall. A number of slots are made at the base of the centrifuging bowl, and a row of through holes is made at the upper edge of the rotor wall. The angle α of convergence of the faces of the indicated reefs, made on the inner working surface of the centrifuging bowl, is 20±2°. Rotation of the rotor is provided by an electric motor installed with the ability to change the speed of rotation of the rotor, due to the movement along the height of the V-belt transmission of rotation from the electric motor pulley to one of the two working diameters of the rotor pulley, with the provision of a particle separation factor in the centrifuging bowl of 60 G or 100 G.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency and productivity of the centrifugal concentrator.
