FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to a method of conversion of a paraffinic feedstock, which contains at least 50 wt % of compounds, boiling at a temperature higher than 370°C, and in which the content of paraffins constitutes at least 60 wt %, the content of aromatics is less than 1 wt %, the content of naphthenic compounds is less than 2 wt %, the content of nitrogen is less than 0.1 wt % and the content of sulphur is less than 0.1 w t%. The method includes stages, at which the feedstock is supplied into a reaction zone, where it contacts with hydrogen at a temperature in the range from 175 to 400°C and under pressure in the range from 20 to 100 bars in the presence of a catalyst, containing from 0.005 to 5.0 wt % of a noble metal of group 8 on a carrier, which contains 0.1-15 wt % of zeolite beta and at least 40 wt % of amorphous alumosilicate counted per the catalyst weight, with the said zeolite beta having a molar ratio silicon dioxide/aluminium oxide equal to at least 50, and the said alumosilicate contains aluminium oxide in the terms of Al2O3 in an amount from 5 to 70%; a discharge flow is output from the reaction zone through an output; the discharge flow is supplied from the reaction zone to the stage of fractioning, at which at least a heavy fraction, an intermediate fraction and a light fraction are formed; and at least a part of the heavy fraction is supplied to an input into the reaction zone.

EFFECT: high conversion of a fraction with the boiling temperature higher than 370°C.
