FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention represents a differential diagnostic technique for chronic viral hepatitis and fatty liver disease in the patients suffering dyslipidemia syndrome, consisting in the fact that patient's blood serum is measured for an enzyme strength of superoxide dismutase (SOD) antioxidant system, which is assessed by spectrophotometric method, and if SOD is 23 units/mg of protein or less, fatty liver disease is diagnosed; if the SOD concentration is more than 23 units/mg of protein, chronic viral hepatitis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: reducing injuries, higher accessibility and simplicity with high sensitivity, specificity and efficiency.
